Thank you to parents for making good decisions about not sending children to school if they are showing symptoms of being unwell. It is important for the welfare of everyone that this practise continues. Thank you too for the absence messaging that is being reported to the office daily.  If you or someone in your whānau show signs of being unwell, follow our table below to help you make the right decision:

The health and wellbeing remain the priority for our learners, staff and community and we are closely following the Ministry of Health guidelines.  We continue to ask for parent support in promoting mask-wearing with their children - this plays a critical role in supporting our school protocols. So far, students have been awesome at wearing masks which has made our job easier.

A reminder of free online programmes available to help positively support children to reduce anxiety, build emotional resilience and life skills and cope with challenges:

  • Fear-Less Triple P Online – for parents and caregivers of children and teenagers (aged six to 14 years) who have significant anxiety
  • Triple P Online – for parents with toddlers to 12-year-olds
  • Teen Triple P Online – for parents with ‘tweens’ or teenagers aged 10 to 16 years.

These programmes will also provide whānau a toolkit to help them to guide behaviour positively and encourage children’s learning. Find out more about Triple P and register for programmes here.
