Writing Group
We have 2 writing groups in our Team that meet with Mrs Ward twice a week. The Thursday writing group
have entered a competition to write a book based on 'safer journeys for children'. The winning book will be professionally published. Have a look at the picture book this group have written and entered for consideration, by clicking the link below.
Mathletics
Mathletics is an interactive maths website that students can use at home and at school. The site allows students to learn and practise new concepts and basic facts in a fun and interactive way. Mathletics is now being used in over 400 schools throughout New Zealand and is used by students in over 100 coutries around the world.
Mathletics will be used to complement classroom work and as an addition to homework. A cost of $30 was added to your child's Term 1 activity fees to cover the cost. If you do not wish to purchase an individual Mathletics license for your child, please let your child's teacher know and you will not be charged the $30.
