Music

There are over 90 students learning an instrument at Russley School and we have 8 music teachers coming in to teach our up and coming musicians.

If you would like to enrol your child for music lessons in 2012, forms can be obtained from the School Office.

Instrumental Lessons

Instrumental lessons are available for students in Teams 2, 3 and 4.

Suzuki Violin lessons are available for students in Teams 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Primary Schools' Festival Choir - 1st November 2011

Congratulations to the pupils who represented Russley School in the Christchurch Schools' Music Festival at the CBS Arena over three evenings in November.

Junior Choir:

Compere Extraordinaires

Tiffen Roberts and Jake Nicholls were comperes for the festival and did a superb job of announcing items to the large audiences at the CBS Arena. On the last evening of the festival there were 4,000 people in the audience and 2,000 children performing.

Tiffen has also achieved the honour of receiving a 4 Year Medal, which is given to students who are in representative groups for 4 years. Approximately 120 schools participated in the festival and only 26 medals were given out so we are very proud of Tiffen's achievement.

ARBSM Piano Exams:
