School Hall

Our School/Community Hall was officially opened on 16th July 1963.

Many groups in our community, such as Keas, Cubs & Scouts, Karate and Rascals Before and After School
Programme use the hall out of school hours.

Our hall became too small for 'full school' activities and assemblies, so we built a new school hall.

As you can see from the photos below, it was a bit of a squash fitting
all of our students comfortably into our hall on assembly day!
 

New Hall Complex


Take a look at the concept plans for our new hall complex!  The Board of Trustees approved the construction of the new building in 2010.  The complex has an auditorium with a basketball court,  kitchen and two large multi purpose rooms.

It was built on the asphalt area at the end of Room 4.

The new space is now big enough to host a full school assembly, something we struggled to squeeze into our old hall. The multi purpose spaces are used as specialist learning spaces for programmes such as science and technology and at times as a common room for our senior students. 
The existing hall will be retained and will provide another learning space for the students. In time we hope to renovate the interior to develop smaller music rooms, an art room and space for small concerts and syndicate assemblies.

The official opening for the new hall was held on Friday 15th April.

15th April 2011 - Hall Opening!

Today our new Hall was officially opened.  Below you can see pictures from the opening ceremony.  Thank you to all who attended, we are very proud of our fabulous new facility and look forward to using it in the years to come.
