Inquiry learning is a teaching and learning approach used to deliver the curriculum, by integrating units of work around big ideas or broad bands of knowledge.
It is proven to be a highly effective approach in promoting student learning as it:
As part of our school wide professional development over the next few years we are going to be implementing the inquiry approach into our classroom practices.
It is important to note that is an ongoing process and involves a considerable shift in the way we deliver our teaching and learning programmes. Inquiry learning is also deeply embedded within the development of the Russley Curriculum.
