Basic Facts Wall

The Basic Facts Wall clearly identifies the knowledge required at each stage of numeracy development. Students progress across the bricks (left to right) and up the wall until they show they have a secure knowledge and recall of the necessary facts to support their stage of learning in the classroom.  Students have mastered a brick when they can recall a range of associated problems in less than 4 seconds. In many instances, this degree of recall can take some time and a considerable amount of practise at home.

There are games that can be played to practise the skills needed to achieve each level and links to these games can be found by clicking on the links below.  The games are organised into Stages.
